| Websites that cater to older job seekers are proliferating these days. For instance, AARP recently launched Real Relief, an online resource with information on financial security and jobs. The site provides tips on benefits and budgets as well as a link to the 39 employers honored by AARP for valuing workers age 50-plus. AARP’s job search powered by RetirementJobs.com offers search opportunities with age-friendly employers. YourEncore looks for experienced scientists, engineers and product developers. Other sites worth checking: Workforce50.com, Seniors4Hire.com, RetiredBrains.com and RetireeWorkforce.com. |
| THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF SOME FREE SITES THAT I USE A LOT -THEY ARE ALL FOR REAL.. REQUIRE NO MONEY FROM YOU, OR PARTICIPATION - YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRY 3 GOLDS, 2 PLATINUMS OR ANY OF THAT STUFF (I HATE THOSE SITES AND SEND THEM ALL TO SPAM - YOU SHOULD TOO)... SOME OF THESE WILL GIVE YOU LINKS TO OTHER SITES AS WELL.. TRY THEM- I HAVE GOTTEN FREE SAMPLES AND COUPONS TO USE FROM SEVERAL OF THEM - I ALSO USE THE COUPON CABIN A LOT WHEN SHOPPING ON LINE AND IT DOES SAVE YOU MONEY AND/OR SHIPPING COSTS - WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOSE? NOTHING - THESE ARE FREE TO YOU FROM ME.. I GET NOTHING FROM ANY OF THEM - I'M JUST SHARING THEM WITH YOU TO HELP IN THESE TOUGH ECONOMIC TIMES .. http://www.freebiecat.com/pdcard.html www.walmart.com (go to their sample/coupon link) www.samsclub.com (same as walmart-look for their link to samples/coupons) www.CouponCat.com www.Coupons.com www.OurFreeStuff www.SilverJewelryClub.com (this one is a "new" site - they show jewelry that you can order and all you pay is s/h (6.99) but they use genuine stones - stuff looks nice. www.ThriftyKitty www.Angelfoodministries.com (this is open to ANYONE.. regardless of financial situation or anything else.. they have "boxes" of food; you pick your box ($30.00) and once you pick that box, you can pick from other side-boxes-fruits/veggies, etc. and so on ($21.00 to $22.00); they're geared for families of 4 for a week... so if you are single, one box would stretch a lot more for you) Food is good, fresh stuff. Another thing about them, if the cite giving out the boxes is a church (or, I guess, other charity organization) AngelFood donates a portion of every box sold back to that organization). They also have a Senior Meal box that contains pre-prepared/frozen individual size meals for Seniors. www.getgroceriesfree.com www.about.com (you can put in just about any search criteria and this site will find it) (as, by the way, does google) www.eversave.com - I use this one a lot. www.couponcabin.com (on this one, you can put in pets, for example, and it will pull up all sorts of discounts, etc.).. i use this a LOT when I'm shopping for something on the net and I have yet to find one of their codes that doesn't work. some of these sites will also lead you to other sites. I've used these. they are real. ONE OF THE BEST: JustFreeStuff.com and he also sends out a newsletter that sends out links -his site is awesome! ALSO SEE THE AD ON SWEETIES SWAGS-ANOTHER AWESOME SITE. USE IN GOOD HEALTH - ENJOY! |
